Hi, I am Felicia Wong.
I am an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist with over 11 years of clinical experience across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, occupational health, and aged care.
Since 2021, I have focused my work on scoliosis care.
I am certified in the scoliosis-specific treatment method known as BSPTS Rigo Concept (derived from Schroth). BSPTS stands for Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School. It is an internationally recognised program, and a founding member of the International PSSE Association. Read more about PSSE here.
My approach is structured and responsive.
I start by understanding what you want to achieve and what is getting in the way. I then assess the factors most relevant to your goals, apply targeted treatment and exercise strategies, and check how you respond over time. Your feedback and symptom response guide what stays, what changes, and what to progress.
I draw on PSSE training, Clinical Pilates, and strong hands-on treatment skills to support goals such as pain management, improved function, and building confidence in movement. If gym-based training is part of your goals, I link scoliosis-specific principles to gym movements in a way that fits your current ability and preferences.
Self-Management
Education sits at the centre of my care model. I focus on helping you understand what is driving your symptoms and what practical actions support better self-management. I enjoy seeing clients feel more in control of their body in a way that fits their lifestyle and priorities.
This focus on education led me to write a practical self-management guide for adults on understanding pain, posture, and daily load. View the eBook here:
I work with your wider healthcare team when required, including GPs, orthopaedic specialists, and other relevant health and movement professionals. I also support people preparing for surgery and in post-operative rehabilitation, with a focus on safe progression and return to meaningful activity.
I have a growing clinical interest in hypermobility, and the way peri- and post-menopausal changes influence pain, strength, and long-term spinal health in people living with scoliosis.
